“I booked (Angelfish Reef) with my girlfriend because I wanted to stay off of the mainstream resorts in order to have a more private vacation. This villa did not disappoint. If you are looking for beautiful views and a private feel then this is the place for you. It’s far enough away from the mainstream resorts yet close enough to drive to wherever you want to go. We rented the top floor which consisted of a bedroom (king size bed), a bathroom, kitchen, living room, and dining room. The deck was a wrap around deck and boasted 360 degree views of Chalk Sound and Silly creek. BEAUTIFUL water and landscape views no matter the time of day.
A great thing about Angelfish Reef is they will not rent to another group no matter what you choose to rent. You can rent the top floor or both top and bottom and it will only be your group. This provides exceptional privacy options. I am aware the bottom has two additional bedrooms, a living room and kitchen. A family with children would have no problem having privacy for the parents AND kids (separately).
The villa also boasts a private pool which was perfect for lounging around in when you wanted to stay close to the villa.
Close to the area is Taylor Bay which was basically empty whenever we went and is a gorgeous cove. Grace Bay is a short drive away and it has been rated the #1 beach by TripAdvisor. For those physical fitness fitness gurus, the villa location is a great spot to go for a run along the water since vehicular travel is lower.
My girlfriend and I were also pleased with the amenities within the villa as it offered outdoor seating/eating options consisting of an outdoor table, chairs and umbrella as well as a propane grille. If the tradewinds are not enough of a cool down for the room, the villa does have a good air conditioning system that will cool down the room quickly.
Quite frankly, this villa was a perfect rental option for us and we would book this again in a heartbeat. A car is necessary to experience the variance of the island, but it would be necessary wherever you stay.” Mike June 2015
